Expert Panel: How to Operationalize AI Beyond Pilots
Webinar Speaker: Donald Farmer, TDWI Research Fellow
Date: Monday, August 17, 2026
Time: 9:00 a.m. PT / 12:00 p.m. ET
Most organizations have run AI pilots. Far fewer have moved them into production. The gap is rarely about the models themselves; it sits in the data underneath. AI systems working from fragmented, inconsistent, or poorly governed data produce unreliable results at scale, and enterprises are discovering this the hard way.
Join TDWI research fellow Donald Farmer and experts from Reltio as we examine what it actually takes to operationalize AI across the enterprise. Drawing on TDWI research and real-world implementations, this session explores why production-ready data, not model sophistication, determines whether AI delivers sustained business value.
Topics include:
- Why AI pilots succeed but production deployments falter, and what the data tells us
- How unified master data and golden records reduce risk for AI agents operating across enterprise systems
- Governance and data quality practices that keep AI trustworthy at scale
- Repeatable processes for moving from experimentation to operational AI
- Practical approaches to measuring business value from AI at scale
Whether your AI initiatives are stalled between pilot and production or you're building the data foundations to prevent that outcome, this session offers concrete guidance for closing the gap.
