AI Governance in 2026: Context, Control, and Enterprise Scale

Webinar Speaker: Fern Halper, TDWI VP Research, Senior Research Director for Advanced Analytics

Date: Thursday, April 9, 2026

Time: 9:00 a.m. PT / 12:00 p.m. ET

Artificial intelligence is everywhere. According to TDWI research, generative AI is now the top analytics priority, and organizations are embedding AI into business applications, analytics workflows, and operational processes.

At the same time, regulatory pressure is increasing, and AI systems are consuming larger volumes of unstructured and cross-platform data. Yet at TDWI we see that many organizations remain early in their AI governance journey. As AI moves from generating insights to taking action, the need for structured, enterprise-wide AI governance has become more critical. Without trusted data, traceability, clear accountability, and embedded controls, AI initiatives risk creating unintended operational and regulatory exposure.

Join TDWI's VP of Research, Fern Halper, along with experts from Collibra and SAP as they explore AI governance and the trends shaping it in 2026, including the evolving AI data foundation, the growing importance of context and semantic alignment, the expanded governance requirements introduced by agentic AI, and the shift toward unified, automated governance architectures. Topics include:

  • The state of AI governance in 2026
  • Building an AI-ready data and semantic foundation
  • Governing generative and agentic AI across the life cycle
  • Moving toward unified, decoupled and automated governance architectures
