TDWI Transform 2026 Anaheim includes seven bootcamps: AI Strategy, AI Engineering, Data Science, Machine Learning, Data Governance, Dimensional Modeling, and Data Strategy. If you haven't done a TDWI bootcamp before, it's worth understanding what the format involves before you add one to your registration.
Bootcamps run across multiple classes, often multiple days. The structure varies, but in general you're getting a sequenced curriculum that builds progressively, with hands-on work built in. The point is to come out with a working understanding of the subject, not just familiarity with the vocabulary. Each bootcamp ends with a certificate.

TDWI Transform 2026 runs September 20–25, and for people who haven't attended before, it's worth having a sense of what the week feels like beyond the formal program.
The conference starts Sunday with morning and afternoon masterclasses — no opening ceremony, just straight into the work. Monday adds a keynote and opens the Leaders Summit, and by Monday evening there's a welcome reception followed by an optional Disneyland® outing for those who want it. That combination of a full day of learning followed by an evening at one of the more memorable social venues in the country tends to set a good tone for the rest of the week.

The Data & AI Leaders Summit runs September 21–23, co-located with TDWI Transform 2026 in Anaheim. It's worth explaining what it actually is, because "summit" can mean a lot of things.
This one is a three-day, single-track program built around three themes: AI governance and strategy on day one, delivering AI with measurable ROI on day two, and data foundations for AI on day three. The structure is deliberate — each day builds on the one before, and the themes reflect where a lot of leadership conversations are actually stuck right now.

TDWI Transform 2026 runs September 20–25 at the JW Marriott in Anaheim. If you're deciding whether to attend — or trying to figure out how to structure your week — here's what's worth knowing before you commit.
The conference spans six days, but you don't have to attend all of them. Passes are flexible, and many attendees build their schedule around three or four days of masterclasses that are most relevant to their current work. The full agenda is already up, so it's worth browsing the 57 masterclasses before you register rather than after — it makes the registration process a lot less abstract.

The pressure is rising. In 2025, data and analytics leaders must go beyond experimentation to deliver AI at scale, evolve governance, and align architecture with emerging use cases. At the Modern Data Leader’s Summit: AI in the Enterprise, held August 18–19 in San Diego, TDWI brings together top executives and strategists to chart the next chapter of enterprise AI—and what it takes to lead.
2025 isn’t just another milestone—it’s a turning point for data leadership. As the hype cycle around AI fades into enterprise expectations, C-suites are pushing for real value, faster scaling, and stronger alignment between data practices and business goals. Leaders are no longer being asked if AI matters—they’re being asked how it will be operationalized, who’s accountable for results, and what foundational capabilities must be upgraded to keep pace. For those in charge of data, analytics, and AI strategy, this is a defining year—one where decisions made now will shape performance, culture, and innovation outcomes for years to come.
The hype around generative AI is far from over—but the patience for misaligned pilots and unfinished roadmaps is. C-suites are no longer asking if AI can help, but how fast it can scale, who should own it, and what foundational practices must evolve to support it.
