Chris Adamson, CBIP
Oakton Software, LLC

Chris Adamson (CBIP) is a BI specialist, educator, and author with a passion for using information to improve business performance. Chris works with clients worldwide to establish BI programs, identify and prioritize projects, and develop solutions. As a TDWI faculty member, he shares over 20 years of experience with students at conferences, seminars, and on site. A recognized expert in the field of BI, his publications include the books Star Schema: The Complete Reference and Data Warehouse Design Solutions.

Aaron Fuller, CBIP
Principal and Owner,
Superior Data Strategies, LLC

Aaron Fuller (CBIP) is the principal and owner of Superior Data Strategies, LLC. Aaron is an experienced enterprise architect, data architect, data modeler, business analyst, and project manager who has developed a keen eye for transforming data into relatable, effective information solutions for businesses. Superior Data Strategies focuses on data warehousing, dimensional data marts, operational data stores, and data integration in a variety of industries.

Jonathan Geiger, CBIP
Executive Vice President,
Intelligent Solutions, Inc.

Jonathan Geiger (CBIP) is an executive vice president with Intelligent Solutions, Inc. Jonathan has been involved in many Corporate Information Factory projects in many industries. He presents frequently at national and international conferences, has written more than 30 articles, and is a co-author of three books: Data Stores, Data Warehousing, and the Zachman Framework: Managing Enterprise Knowledge; Building the Customer-Centric Enterprise; and Mastering Data Warehouse Design.

Sandra Hendren
Senior Consultant,

Sandra Hendren is a highly seasoned senior consultant with The Modeling Agency (TMA), with more than 30 years of experience in advanced analytics, data mining, software development, and commercial implementation. Prior to TMA, Ms. Hendren was chief data scientist and analytics strategist for UnitedHealth Group, the 17th largest company in the U.S. Ms. Hendren has also held multiple adjunct faculty positions, most recently as senior lecturer of strategic management at Harvard University.

Richard Hines
Analytics Consultant and Educator

Richard Hines has been happily immersed in business intelligence and analytics disciplines since 1995. Richard specializes in working with organizations to establish or re-energize Analytics and BI programs. His depth of knowledge regarding technology’s impact on strategic decision making has made him a regular speaker at industry forums throughout North America. He has worked with organizations globally, holding leadership positions in the United States, the United Kingdom, Australia, and Canada. Richard is also active in the academic community, assisting with curriculum development and lecturing at universities in China and North America.

Nicholas Kelly

Nick Kelly has built a career on gaining business insight from data. He is a hands-on leader in analytics with over 15 years of international experience in analytics and software development, deployment, adoption, and user experience. Nick's passion lies in building user-centric analytics capabilities that align with business strategy and produce actual value to the business. With experience from solo coding and development to managing teams up to 25 data scientists, he knows the full analytics process and how to scale it.

Nick is also an experienced management consultant who has implemented analytics projects and strategies for a number of the Fortune 100 in industries including finance, human capital, supply chain, and healthcare. He has been featured in videos and articles, as a speaker at international conferences, and has personally trained over 500 management consultants in data visualization and analytics best practices.

Krish Krishnan

Krish Krishnan is a recognized industry thought leader and practitioner in the area of data warehousing. A sought-after speaker at various industry conferences, Krish’s expertise spans all areas of business intelligence and data warehousing. Krish specializes in providing high-performance solutions for small and large BI/DW initiatives. He has designed and implemented data warehouse solutions that range from hundreds of gigabytes to multiterabyte data volumes. Krish leads the data warehouse appliance expert channel at the BeyeNETWORK. Krish also serves as associate vice president of DAMA Chicago.

Mike Lampa

Mike Lampa is managing partner at Denver-based Archipelago Information Strategies, a business intelligence/advanced analytics consultancy focusing on business outcome improvements through business discovery and advanced analytics solutions. Prior to joining Archipelago, Mike was managing director for Dell, establishing Dell’s global business intelligence practice and advising on the creation of its information management software group. Mike has 18 years of experience owning and operating consulting practices, delivering over 150 business analytics and data warehousing program solutions to Fortune 1000 companies and governmental agencies across several industries and jurisdictions. Mike serves as faculty for TDWI and the International Institute for Analytics and has been published in TechTarget, DM Review, and the Journal of Data Warehousing.

Deanne Larson, D.M., CBIP
Larson & Associates

With over 20 years of experience, Dr. Larson is an active practitioner and academic focusing on business intelligence and data warehousing. Dr. Larson completed her doctorate in management in information technology leadership. She holds project management professional (PMP) and certified business intelligence professional (CBIP) certifications. Dr. Larson attended AT&T Executive Training at Harvard Business School in 2001, focusing on IT leadership. She is a regular contributor to TDWI publications and presents several times a year at conferences. Dr. Larson is associate faculty at American Public University and University of Phoenix in the United States.

Michael Li
Founder and CEO,
The Data Incubator

Tianhui Michael Li has worked as a data scientist (Foursquare, A16Z), quant (D.E. Shaw, J.P. Morgan), and a rocket scientist (NASA). He did his Ph.D. at Princeton as a Hertz fellow and studied Math at Cambridge as a Marshall scholar.

Ariel M’ndange-Pfupfu
Data Scientist in Residence,

Ariel M’ndange-Pfupfu studied physics at Stanford and got an engineering Ph.D. from Northwestern. Since joining The Data Incubator as a data scientist in residence, he’s worked on a variety of data science and software engineering projects, as well as curriculum development and instruction.

Dana Mastropole
Data Scientist in Residence,

Dana Mastropole studied physics as an undergraduate student at Georgetown University and received her master’s in physical oceanography from MIT. She also completed MIT’s Kaufman teaching certificate program and taught elementary school science prior to joining the Data Incubator team. She is currently a data scientist in residence at the Incubator and contributes to curriculum development and instruction.

Keith McCormick

Keith McCormick has leveraged statistical and machine learning software since the early 1990s, along with deep expertise using popular commercial and open source solutions involving structured data, text, and big data analytics. As a senior consultant with The Modeling Agency, LLC, McCormick guides organizations to establish highly effective analytical practices across industries, to include public sector, media, marketing, healthcare, retail, finance, manufacturing, and higher education. He is a highly accomplished professional mentor and trainer, having served as keynote speaker and moderator at international conferences focused on practitioners and leadership alike. He possesses a unique blend of tactical and strategic skills along with the business acumen to ensure superior project design, oversight, and outcomes that align with organizational targets.

John Myers

John Myers joined Enterprise Management Associates in 2011 as a senior analyst of the business intelligence (BI) practice area. John delivers comprehensive coverage of the business intelligence and data warehouse industry, focusing on database management, data integration, data visualization, and process management solutions. John has years of experience working with business analytics in professional services consulting and product development roles and helps organizations solve their business analytics problems related to operational platforms or applied analytical applications.

Mark Peco, CBIP
BI Consultant and Instructor

Mark Peco (CBIP) is an experienced consultant, educator, manager, analyst, and team builder. He holds a graduate degree in engineering from the University of Waterloo and has led numerous consulting and software development projects helping clients to adapt to fundamental shifts in business models and requirements. His experience includes strategy development, business intelligence, data warehousing, compliance, analytics, mathematical modeling, and application development. Mark’s industry experience includes the energy, metals, and financial sectors.

Patrick Rooney, Ph.D.

Patrick Rooney is a senior consultant with The Modeling Agency, LLC, with over 21 years’ experience in deriving insight and impact from statistical data analysis and predictive modeling. His expertise in quantitative analysis and statistical modeling has helped clients in retail businesses, financial services, and software industries to optimize their marketing and merchandising activities. Patrick holds a B.A. (with honors) from the University of California at Santa Cruz, and a Ph.D. in Experimental Psychology from Cornell University. He has been a speaker at the annual DMA conferences and has contributed articles to the Direct Marketing Analytics Journal and DM News.

Robert Schroll

Robert Schroll is a data scientist in residence at The Data Incubator and has been a key contributor to a variety of open source software development and data science projects. He received his Ph.D. from the University of Chicago in computational physics and his undergraduate degree from Maryland.

Dave Wells, CBIP

Dave Wells (CBIP) is consultant, mentor, and teacher in the field of business intelligence (BI). He brings to every consulting endeavor a unique and balanced perspective regarding the roles of technology in business. This perspective—refined through a career of more 35 years that blended business and technical roles—helps to align business and information technology in the most effective ways. Dave focuses on strategic and organizational alignment as the keys to building and sustaining valuable and high-impact BI cultures and systems.

Nancy Williams, CBIP
Vice President and Principal Consultant,

Nancy Williams (CBIP) is DecisionPath's vice president of business intelligence (BI) and data warehousing (DW). With more than 20 years of business and technical experience, Nancy has provided BI and DW expertise to leading companies such as Marriott International, Legg Mason, and Stewart Title, as well as public sector organizations such as the U.S. Social Security Administration and the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency. Nancy is a regular speaker at industry events and has authored and co-authored numerous publications in the fields of BI and business performance management, including the recently released book, The Profit Impact of Business Intelligence. Nancy earned her MBA at the Darden School, University of Virginia; her bachelor's degree is also from the University of Virginia.

Lynn Winterboer, CBIP, CSM, CSPO

Lynn Winterboer is passionate about improving the way teams deliver value to stakeholders by applying agile frameworks to DW/BI projects. She has participated in both agile and data warehousing projects since the mid-1990s. She has held various roles including agile analytics coach, scrum master, product owner, business analyst, process analyst, developer, tester, project manager, and team manager. Lynn understands the unique set of challenges faced by DW/BI teams who want to benefit from the incremental style of agile development.
