Generative Artificial Intelligence ( a.k.a., generative AI or gen AI) systems are designed to create new outputs, such as images, music, text, or other forms of media, based on the input data they are trained on. Rather than analyzing or processing data, the idea behind generative AI is to learn from existing data and to extrapolate and create new data that is consistent with the original data set.
