Presentation: Retooling on the Modern Data and Analytics Tech Stack
Susan King, Adam Doyle – Principle Consultants, Dougherty Business Systems
In the last ten years, the landscape of technologies for data processing and analytics has changed. With the advent of Big Data and the push to the cloud, new tools have emerged that Data and Analytics practitioners need to be aware of and trained on. With a glut of options, how can an individual retool themselves to stay on top of their profession? How can an organization foster adoption of these tools and techniques within their existing workforce? Adam Doyle and Susan King will highlight modern stack technologies and techniques to be aware of, discuss a framework for retooling, and examine data engineering as a case study. |

Explore ways to enable your business to drive data governance, by connecting the dots between strategy, capabilities, systems and data. By combining Enterprise Architecture techniques (looking at the enterprise holistically) with Data Governance desires, it is possible to move the data-related discussions out of IT and into the realm of business, so that the true information owners can make the right decisions and right investments, in support of safe and agile transformations. |
