Presentation: "Making Sense of NoSQL” by Dan McCreary |

Abstract
This presentation summarizes the key use cases that drive organizations to adopt non-relational database architectures. We will present the six key database architectural patterns and how they each address specific business challenges. We will focus on how key-value stores, graphs and document stores are used to address topics such as scalability, high-availability, search, semantics and analytics. We then present an objective process to match business challenges with the appropriate architectures. This presentation is an overview of 40-hour training class on database architecture trade-off analysis which is the basis for the book “Making Sense of NoSQL”. |
