Dell Releases Statistica 13.1

Dell announced a major new release of its advanced analytics platform, Dell Statistica version 13.1. This latest version includes:
Streamlined workflows for citizen data scientists
The latest release offers data preparation functionality built specifically for the citizen data scientist, simplifying preparation of structured and unstructured data. With Statistica’s reusable process templates, traditional data scientists can build analytics models and workflows once and non-technical business analysts can reuse those workflow templates repeatedly within the organization.
Edge scoring for IoT analytics
When used in combination with Dell Boomi, Statistica enables organizations to address any IoT analytics use case by deploying "analytic atoms" on any edge device or gateway, making it possible to run analytics directly at the edge of the network.
Expanded in-database analytics for complex data environments
This new release also extends the Statistica Native Distributed Analytics Architecture capability, improving performance by delivering in-database analytics to a wide range of databases, including Apache Hive (on Spark), MySQL, Oracle, and Teradata.
Network analytics for enhanced fraud detection
New network analytics capabilities combine predictive analytics with human expertise to better detect fraud and understand relationships within complex networks. It allows users to look at problems in new ways by visualizing entity relationships and viewing graphical association maps.Dell Statistica 13.1 also includes improved visualization dashboards, an upgraded Web UI, and enhanced validated data entry.
