Datawatch Corporation, a global provider of information optimization solutions, has added new server and management automation capabilities to its Datawatch Monarch Professional, Datawatch Data Pump, and Datawatch Enterprise Server products. These major new releases of Datawatch’s flagship information optimization software will enable businesses to better secure, simplify, and accelerate their Big Data and business intelligence applications, while more easily extending the technology to more users throughout the enterprise.
These latest releases offer enhanced enterprise-class security, load-balancing, failover, and a simplified workflow between its client and server-based solutions. They enable organizations to develop models against a greater variety of data sources using Datawatch Monarch Professional, then store and share those models inside Datawatch Enterprise Server, thus extending the value of the models to more users across the organization. A new project editor feature inside Datawatch Monarch Professional simplifies the workflow between client and server products by enabling users to edit and update scheduled projects directly to the server.
The new Datawatch Monarch Professional v11.7 improves upon the integration between Monarch Professional client product and its newly upgraded v12 server based products, Enterprise Server and Data Pump. Monarch Professional users can now push, pull, and edit automated projects via the DataPump Project Editor through this new native feature to the desktop client.
Datawatch DataPump v12.0 is now fully integrated into Enterprise Server, inheriting all enterprise-class security. This newly adopted security allows for multi-user roles and defines access and permission at process level as well as the use of Active Directory and Enterprise Server security models. DataPump v12.0 also features browser-based administration, as well as multi-server load-balancing and failover (specify execution server or load-balance, failover with SQL cluster).
Updates in Datawatch Enterprise Server v12.0 include support for Win 2012, IIS v8.0, IE v10, as well as a move to .NET Framework v4.5.
The new release fulfills the requirements of Section 508 Amendment to the 1973 Rehabilitation Act Software Applications and Operating Systems. These guidelines are designed to help establish the accessibility level of software for people with a disability and are an important factor in U.S. government procurement. Datawatch has created a VPAT (Voluntary Product Accessibility Template) which is available on request.
