Expert Panel: Devise a Data Strategy with an Evolutive Architecture to Solve Tomorrow’s Problems Today
TDWI Speaker: David Loshin, President of Knowledge Integrity
Date: Thursday, August 26, 2021
Time: 9:00 a.m. PT, 12:00 p.m. ET
With cloud computing, organizations are now empowered to take full advantage of all their enterprise information assets. Modernized environments pave the way for embracing new strategies centered on data and analytics and transforming the way organizations do business.
Yet despite the availability of scalable high-performance computing, virtually unlimited storage, and a growing array of easy-to-use analytics services, it is still a highly complex task to architect and manage a hybrid compendium of cloud services or cloud-based systems—as well as on-premises applications and systems.
Drafting a data strategy and architecture to meet current and future needs will position organizations to embrace a technology stack supporting data-driven reinvention. This panel discussion explores a data strategy and architectural guidance around the technologies that motivate transformational changes for the future.
In addition to discussing their visions for the future, our panelists will help attendees understand the challenges and information risks that are emerging from broadening data democratization. TDWI affiliate analyst David Loshin will solicit perspectives from each of the panelists and moderate a question-and-answer session.
Attendees will learn about:
- Opportunities and challenges of data democratization
- The need for trustworthy data to drive accurate predictive and prescriptive models
- Developing a strategy for modernized data architecture
- Choosing your technology stack wisely
VP Global Solutions Engineering
Christophe Antoine joined Talend on May 2006 (Employee #4) as lead R&D engineer to design/develop the first public release of Talend Open Studio (October 2006). Christophe was the first to move from R&D into sales as a solutions engineering manager. He was the only one who wanted to shave his beard, dress up, and get out of the garage when we were a tiny start-up company.
He helped in the staffing of our U.S. office (2007) along with expanding our footprint in EMEA. His role today is to secure adoption, enablement, and proof of value for our customers who are facing architecture challenges. He and his team are providing solutions over all our domains of expertise: big data, data management, data quality, cloud deployment, and enterprise service bus.
Craig Dickman has spent the last 20 years working with data. He is currently a senior solution engineer with Snowflake and has helped some of the largest companies in the world break down their data silos and drive additional value and insights using Snowflake.
