Six Strategies for Building Resilient Supply Chains with Multi-Domain MDM

Webinar Speaker: David Stodder, Senior Director of Research for BI, TDWI

Date: Tuesday, June 8, 2021

Time: 9:00 a.m. PT, 12:00 p.m. ET

Companies depend on global supply chains to transform raw materials into end products, but the COVID-19 pandemic and other unexpected events have tested the resilience of supply chains. Data is essential to making the right moves to minimize disruptions and optimize supply chains. However, accessing and integrating complete and accurate data from often hundreds of data sources is a major challenge. Delays, lack of trust, and governance problems plague companies as they struggle with data chaos.

This puts a spotlight on master data management (MDM). Starting with product information management (PIM) for establishing a trusted resource of product master data, many organizations today are building multi-domain MDM that integrates all master data domains in a central system. Multi-domain MDM enables stakeholders in supply chains to gain complete and relevant data for analytics, optimizing supply chains, and collaboration with partners, governance, and the ability to meet customer demands.

Join this TDWI Webinar to learn how multi-domain MDM helps you reduce data chaos and gain faster and easier access to diverse but accurate and complete data. Multi-domain MDM is important to many business functions and use cases, including financial management and marketing. We will explore its importance for supply chain resilience.

Topics will include:

  • How to lower costs and realize tangible business advantages with multi-domain MDM
  • Establishing a single source of truth to improve data accuracy and completeness
  • How multi-domain MDM enables end-to-end, 360-degree views of the supply chain
  • Data visualization and analytics on top of multi-domain MDM
  • Improving supply chain governance
