Increasingly, organizations are looking to combine system and application modernization with migration from conventional on-premises platforms to a variety of off-premises environments (e.g., SaaS, PaaS, and/or cloud computing). As these modernizations progress, organizations are bound to operate within a hybrid environment that spans on-premises and multicloud platforms for the near and medium terms.
That means that hybrid integration is rapidly going to be a critical competency for successful modernization.
