Presentation: Using a graph as a data warehouse – Dan Bennett – Thomson Reuters

Thomson Reuters provides data-driven products to a global market of attorneys, accountants, bankers, and financiers. As you might imagine, data warehousing and BI technologies underpin many of our products, often used in ways their creators never imagined.

Recently, we’ve started to model our data as linked data, to form a ‘knowledge graph’ across our data sets, underpinning new types of product experiences and capabilities.

In this presentation, Dan will discuss our approach to graph-based technologies, the nimbleness, challenges, and lessons learned so far.

Presentation:  A New Algorithm for Machine Learning Applications and Developers - Grant Goris - COO of BoonLogic

BoonLogic is a Minneapolis-based machine learning start-up with a platform technology known as "PME" (pattern memory engine). Founded on principles from neural science and constructed similarly to our brain's physical architecture, PME expands the realm of possibility for real-time machine learning applications. By leveraging several clues from human pattern processing, BoonLogic is partnering to develop emerging technologies and capabilities in a world with ever-increasing data. How are we different? Where can it be applied? These questions and yours will be addressed. Discover the next algorithm for real-time pattern detection.
