Victor will present the key building blocks of the Enterprise Big Data Strategy at Rogers. He will share the lessons learned over the last three years of executing the Big Data roadmap and provide his thoughts for the future.
Please join us to learn about key topics including:
·   Building Big Data teams, talent acquisition and retention strategies
·    Big Data Environment strategy, including the core Hadoop Platform and various tools comprising the Hadoop ecosystem

Bios of Presenters

Southard Jones is Birst’s VP, Product Strategy.  He is responsible for company’s go-to-market strategy, product and competitive positioning, and strategic projects.  Southard has over 15 years of experience in BI & Analytics space, holding various product leadership roles including Vice President of Products at SCIenergy, a leading provider of Energy Management Analytics and Vice President of Products at Right90, a pioneer in SaaS sales forecasting.  His software career started at Siebel where helped build the Siebel Analytics product line from ground up.
Southard holds a BS in Mechanical Engineering from Cornell University and a MBA and MEM from Northwestern’s Kellogg School of Management and McCormick School of Engineering.

 Victor Potapov is the Director of Big Data Innovation at Rogers. He has a diverse and deep experience in delivering Predictive Analytics on Big Data platforms. His profile can be found at https://ca.linkedin.com/in/vpotapov
