Presentation: Data Governance Tools for Business
Salman Syed and Doug Graham
When you are a hammer, everything that you see looks like a nail. If you are a Data Governance leader, tools seem to be the ultimate answer when you need to drive data governance into the business. During this presentation we will discuss the ultimate business purpose for the myriad of tools that are available in the marketplace. Tools that enable Data Catalogs, Business Glossaries, Data Quality, Master Data Management, Reference Data Management and other key capabilities for a data governance program need to be fundamentally understood and positioned to provide business value. We will try to provide perspective on the right tool for the job and when you need to use them.

Presentation: Creating a Data Literate Culture
John Ladley
It seems everyone wants to be data driving. But data driven requires that all the people resources in an organization to be able to participate. And often, there is a lack of awareness and an inability to actually know how to use and manage data. This lack of data literacy is a big issue, and John will explore how to point your organization into a more data literate direction.
