About our Presenters
Wendy Gilbert (Egencia)
Director, Product Management, Global Data Platform
Wendy brings many years of data experience across a variety of companies including Egencia, Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation, Seattle Cancer Care Alliance, Amazon.com, ANZ (New Zealand), and Washington Mutual. She has delivered BI solutions in roles ranging from program and data management to software development, and is known for effective, low-drama delivery regardless of project size. Wendy earned MS in Computing Information Systems from Sam Houston State University and has contributed as an Advisory Board Member to the University of Washington certificate programs in Business Intelligence, Data Warehousing, and Data Science.
Christian Kleinerman (Snowflake Computing)
Vice President, Product
In his current role Christian oversees the continued growth and innovation of Snowflake Computing’s products. Previously at Google as Director of Product Management he led YouTube’s infrastructure and data systems, and prior to that was a General Manager at Microsoft responsible for a broad portfolio of Data Warehouse products. Christian has over 20 years of experience working with database technologies, earned his bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering from Los Andes University, and currently holds more than 10 patents in database technologies.
Steve Sarsfield (Vertica)
Director of Product Marketing
Steve Sarsfield has published many articles and white papers on the topics of data management, databases, data quality and analytics. He is the author of the book "The Data Governance Imperative", which discusses the topic of how business and IT can better work together to address business challenges.
