Case Study: How Ingram is redefining its Business Intelligence(BI) into a comprehensive data solutions team. by Shruti Sharma / Ingram Content Group

There is a lot of hype, confusion and misinformation regarding the use of machine learning (ML), data science (DS) and Artificial Intelligence (AI) within a business context. Defining a data science question from a business need is one of the more elusive and esoteric processes that are for “the few and the proud”. We would take Ingram as a case study to look at how the Business Intelligence Team is reinventing itself to meet the needs of the business that is growing and changing with the landscape of the publishing industry. In the process, we will decode and demystify the buzzwords and walk the steps of formulating a newer and more comprehensive data strategy.

2:45 – 3:00 p.m.
