Aaron Fuller, CBIP, faculty member at TDWI, will present and lead a discussion on the fundamentals, challenges, and evolution of data governance. Topics will include:
- data governance functions
- tiered governance
- working groups
- business data stewardship
- metadata management
- trends in modern data governance.
Interactive Discussion include:
- How well does your organization manage the various functions of governance?
- With which challenges do you struggle?
- How does data governance fit within your organization’s change management process?
- How can your data governance program practice better change management?
- Where is the evolution of data governance headed and what are emerging best practices?

Aaron Fuller
AI Principal and Owner of Superior Data Strategies LLC & TDWI Faculty Member
Throughout his career as a data architect, Aaron has developed a keen eye for transforming data into relatable, effective information solutions for businesses. Across an 11-year career with the Accident Fund Insurance Company, he modeled data, created technical designs for a broad range of systems and encouraged data stewardship, and led the establishment of their enterprise data warehousing, business intelligence and enterprise architecture programs. Since that time, Aaron has designed and aided in the implementation of enterprise data warehouses and data governance for a variety of organizations. Now, as principal and founder of Superior Data Strategies, he has expanded his role expertly guiding clients toward reliable and valuable business solutions. He leads a team of highly skilled database professionals who are uniquely capable of planning and executing agile data projects. He is a faculty member at TDWI, educating the next generation of technology leaders and developers.
