TDWI Solution Summit: Components for Analytics Innovation

SEPTEMBER 14–16, 2014, AUSTIN, TX

WHO:
TDWI, the premier provider of in-depth, high-quality education and research in the business intelligence (BI), data warehousing (DW), and analytics industry, has announced its next 2014 TDWI Solution Summit, “Hadoop, Cloud, and Hybrid Architectures: Components for Analytics Innovation.”

WHAT:
The TDWI Solution Summit brings together experienced professionals, industry thought leaders, and top solution providers for real-world tips and best practices on your evolving data ecosystem.

Attendees will gain strategic, real-world guidance to understand how enterprises are exploring new platforms to support the innovation and changes brought on by big data, the coming of age of predictive analytics, and advances in the infrastructure to support these technologies.

Analytics is evolving to include both on-premises and off-premises data. Forward-looking enterprises are moving beyond the warehouse—to leverage the warehouse investment as well as embrace other platforms such as analytic platforms, Hadoop, or the cloud—in order to become more proactive and agile in supporting analysis to drive top- and bottom-line benefits.

As platforms and architectures supporting analytics continue to evolve, there are organizational, data, and governance issues to consider. How and where does an enterprise start? Is a hybrid architecture the right solution? Are Hadoop or the cloud needed, and where should analytics be run?

The Summit offers case studies, expert sessions, and thought-leadership panel discussions about how this emerging data management environment can support analytics innovation.

Attendees will learn from experts in the field about best practices and pitfalls, road maps and architectures, and business benefits. Leading experts will discuss trends and challenges and provide examples of enterprise success.

ATTENDEES:
The TDWI Solution Summit is a three-day event geared to North American senior business and technology leaders who approve or recommend data management, BI, or analytical systems and are planning a project in the next 12 months. Qualified business and IT decision makers receive free hotel and conference registration. Attendees are responsible for transportation costs.
