Bios of Presenters

Gregg Zollinger
Manager of Business Intelligence, Tractor Supply Company
Gregg has worked in business intelligence and data warehousing for 20 years.  He both started in, and is currently in the Retail industry working for Tractor Supply Company,  the country’s fastest growing retailer over the last 10 years.  He had a stint in the Technology industry working at Teradata, a leading data warehouse solutions company.  He has also worked locally, for 10 years in Healthcare, both at HCA and Healthways.
Jimmy Dobbins
Data Architect, Ingram Barge Company
Jimmy Dobbins is the Data Architect at the Ingram Barge Company in Nashville, TN. Since joining Ingram in 2013, he has been focused on operational analytics including vessel/barge utilization, optimization and fuel consumption analysis. Prior to joining the Ingram Barge Company, he was a Research Associate Professor in Civil Engineering at Vanderbilt University and Director of the Vanderbilt Center for Transportation Research (VECTOR). At Vanderbilt, his research and teaching activities focused on freight transportation analysis, risk assessment and network simulation using geographic information systems (GIS).
 Matt Jones
Vice President of Technology Innovation, CTS, Inc
Matt Jones is a seasoned professional with 19+ years of experience in the technology industry. Matt is currently Vice President of Technology Innovation for CTS, Inc., an IT professional services firm with six offices across the Southeast, including Nashville. Matt is responsible for setting CTS’ technical direction, developing new service offerings, and managing research & development efforts for CTS. He has over 2 years of experience assisting customers with “Big Data” initiatives. His assistance includes designing and consulting on a real-time BI solution that provides analytics and interaction with a mesh network solution, producing over 170k messages a second. Matt has assisted numerous large enterprise organizations implement enterprise data hubs and analytics on top of the Hadoop platform. His favorite engagements over the past year have involved helping customers mature beyond descriptive and diagnostic analytics into the world of predictive and prescriptive analytics. Matt’s “Big Data” technology experience ranges from most of the major Hadoop distributions (Hortonworks, Cloudera, and HDInsight) to secondary add-on tools including Syncsort, Datameer, and Dataguise
