Topic:

AI/Machine Learning/Predictive Analytics in an Agile World

AI/Machine Learning/Predictive Analytics has its own process model that many consider the de facto standard, but might be unfamiliar to some: CRISP-DM. Agile was originally developed in support of software development but is frequently applied to many diverse product types throughout the enterprise. So what should you do if you work in an organization that requires Agile, but you want to address the unique needs of Predictive Analytics products?

We will explore this topic using a unique debate/Q&A style. We will first introduce some of the considerations of the three major phases of AI/Machine Learning/predictive analytics products. Then each speaker will address how they would handle some of the common challenges of that phase through the lens of both CRISP-DM and Agile. Then the speakers will take audience questions before moving on to the next phase. One speaker is a CRISP-DM expert and the other is an Agile and Scrum expert.
