Hazelcast, a real-time intelligent applications platform, has released its Hazelcast Platform. Now, enterprises can utilize a single platform for transactional, operational, and analytics workloads. The Hazelcast Platform combines the capabilities of a real-time stream processing engine with in-memory computing to deliver a simplified architecture with high performance that is scalable and reliable.
Previously, the company offered two products: Hazelcast IMDG and Hazelcast Jet. Hazelcast Platform merges those two products into one that simplifies the development of applications using Hazelcast and puts greater focus on developing real-time applications that will engage with users in new ways.
Hazelcast IMDG provided fast ways to store, retrieve, and modify data. Hazelcast Jet provided fast processing of data. Combining these two together brings something more -- faster insight and action.
Complementing the high performance and reliability of the platform is its ability to simplify application development and maintenance. With its ability to execute transactional, analytical, and operational workloads, the Hazelcast Platform can act as a single data layer and access point for applications to call upon. This benefit is possible because of the robust library of connectors. From MongoDB to Redis Labs to Snowflake, each connector is developed and maintained to ensure high performance, reliability, and security so developers only need to build the application against Hazelcast.
The Hazelcast Platform is available as an enterprise and open source offering. To download the Hazelcast Platform, please visit: https://hazelcast.com/get-started/.
