WHO:

TDWI, the premier provider of in-depth, high-quality education and research in the business intelligence (BI) and data warehousing (DW) industry, has announced the featured track for its next 2013 TDWI World Conference, “Business-Driven BI: Building a Business/IT Partnership.”

WHAT:

The Boston World Conference will offer more than 47 in-depth, vendor-neutral BI and DW courses—including 18 courses specifically related to the classic business/IT divide and how to build a true and lasting business/IT partnership.  In so doing, enterprises can create a more agile BI organization that has business users and IT professionals working side by side, on the same team, in pursuit of the same goals, and under the direction of the same executive sponsors.

The conference’s Business/IT partnership track examines such diverse topics as organizational change management, business decision-making, and building agile organizations.

Conference courses will be presented by leading BI and DW experts and practitioners.  Other conference sessions will offer attendees the best design techniques for building better dashboards and scorecards and help them evaluate BI tool portfolios.  Sessions will focus on understanding the difference between big data and fat data, CBIP exam preparation, dimensional data modeling, governance, data quality management, the consumerization of data in an enterprise, and how to break down analytics barriers.

Attendees will also be presented with a variety of professional development and networking opportunities, including certification.

October 20-25, 2013

WHERE:

Sheraton Boston Hotel
39 Dalton Street
