Modern data and analytics require scalability, flexibility, and the ability to handle diverse data types. Organizations are often utilizing modern data pipeline tools to move data to new environments (such as the cloud), keep that data fresh, and make it available for analytics.
The modern pipeline is a series of processes that retrieve data from batch and streaming sources and prepare it for delivery to data consumers such as data scientists, analysts, and machine-driven processes. These pipelines may include data ingestion, movement, cleansing, loading, replication, transformation, preparation, and enrichment services. Beyond this, they may help in deploying machine learning models into production. They often use the computational power of the cloud to perform their functions.

Mr. Krishnan is an expert in the strategy, architecture and implementation of high-performance data and analytics solutions. He is a recognized data thought leader, writing and speaking at industry leading conferences, user groups and trade publications. He is a certified Bill Inmon professional. In his 31 years of professional experience, he has been solving complex computing problems and focusing on solution architecture spanning all aspects of data journey including data lake, data warehousing, machine learning, advanced analytics and business intelligence for fortune 1000 clients. His ‘get it done’ approach has delivered data solutions across terabytes to multiple petabytes of data volumes and his specialty is performance tuning both new and existing data and analytics investments to realize greater than 95% performance gains.
Krish’s focus in the last three years has included Data Fabric, Data Mesh, Data Pipelines, Data Workflows and Analytics Delivery engines. A published author with five books including DAMA DMBOK 1.0, he is writing a new book on OKR and Data Journey Measurement.

Kunal Agarwal is the Co-Founder and Chief Executive Officer of Unravel Data. Previously, he led sales and implementation of Oracle products at several Fortune 100 companies. Kunal also co-founded Yuuze.com, a pioneer in personalized shopping and what-to-wear recommendations. Earlier in his career, he helped Sun Microsystems evaluate big data infrastructure like Sun’s Grid Computing Engine. Kunal graduated from Duke University’s Fuqua School of Business with an MBA in Entrepreneurial Studies and from Valparaiso University with an undergraduate degree in Computer and Electrical Engineering.
