As organizations adapt their data strategies to support more sophisticated analytics, AI, and applications, they will need to handle higher volumes of more diverse data. The popularity of generative AI is putting additional pressure on every organization to develop a modern data strategy, which will include people as well as technologies. For instance, organizations are implementing new roles, including data engineers, MLOps engineers, data literacy support teams, modern data analysts, and even data product managers.

Join TDWI VP of Research Fern Halper, Ph.D., as she discusses the role of data and analytics professionals in this modern AI environment with experts from Databricks and dbt Labs. Topics include:

  • The current state of AI in organizations
  • The evolving role of data professionals in the modern environments—what’s new?
  • The importance of having a data strategy tied closely to data governance
