Aalok is a group product manager focused on databases at Google Cloud. Aalok is responsible for driving the adoption of Google's cloud-first databases. As part of his role, he has worked with key customers around modernizing their data architectures, developing new data services and transforming workloads into the cloud. Aalok has a strong database background and over 20 years of experience. In the past, Aalok has written database code for the I/O and memory subsystems, co-authored a book on Oracle NoSQL and run industry-standard database benchmarks.
