Unlock the Power of Spatial Analysis and Data Lakehouses for Better Business Decisions

Webinar Speaker: David Stodder, Senior Director of Research for BI, TDWI

Date: Tuesday, January 24, 2023

Time: 9:00 a.m. PT, 12:00 p.m. ET

Location intelligence is rising in importance. Organizations are digitally transforming key business processes and now have an array of systems with location components, including mobile devices, vehicles, equipment, buildings, and other physical facilities. Analyzing the location dimension has traditionally been restricted to specialists, but technology advances today enable people across organizations to maximize spatial data’s value.

Using remarkably beautiful interactive visualizations, data scientists and business users can analyze spatial data to answer both “why” and “where” questions. With location intelligence, you can achieve critical goals such as smarter and more effective marketing, knowing the best places to locate stores or other facilities, understanding population health trends, addressing biodiversity loss, and increasing logistics efficiency.

However, spatial data can be voluminous and varied. Traditional practices have required complex ETL processes that suffer from poor performance as data sources become bigger and more numerous. Modern, cloud-native location intelligence platforms, which use the scalability and flexibility of cloud-native data lakes and data warehouses, are enabling organizations to overcome delays and limitations and gain faster insight.

Join this TDWI Webinar to learn how you can take advantage of the latest technologies for visual spatial analytics and data lakehouses to make location intelligence an integral component of your data science and business decision-making.

Topics to be covered include:

  • Business drivers and technology trends driving growth in location intelligence
  • How you can connect, visualize, and analyze location data in a data lakehouse
  • Technologies for accelerating geospatial analytics on large and diverse data without complex ETL
  • How to sharpen predictive insights with spatial data science
  • Case study examples of how to innovate with flexible, interactive map visualizations and spatial analytics
