The emergence of the citizen data scientist feeds the growing trend of business users directly engaging with data. At the same time, many organizations are adopting cloud services and migrating data to the cloud. The combination of these trends makes it especially important to simplify business analysts’ access to cloud-based data while not increasing the workload of their IT counterparts.
In this webinar, we look at two different aspects of analytics in the cloud. First, we will discuss cloud migration—both challenges and best practices when taking advantage of cloud-based services. We will review specific examples from Amazon Web Services (AWS). Then we will examine how Tableau’s visual analytics platform can be directly integrated with these services to provide self-service access to a broad range of reporting and analytics functions.
