Webinar Abstract
Analytics is becoming main stream. According to TDWI research, organizations are starting to move past reports and dashboards to address more advanced forms of analytics. These might include discovery analytics, predictive analytics, optimization, text analytics, big data analytics and more. Interest in these technologies is strong.
However, as the value of advanced analytics becomes increasingly understood and companies want to get started, they are facing challenges. Some are organizational; a primary challenge is that they don’t have the skill set to make advanced analytics happen. Other challenges are infrastructure based. As the market evolves, there are a number of advances occurring in the software, the infrastructure, and in the organizational practices that can help open up analytics to new users. These include making analytics easier to use, changes to algorithms, embedding analytics for action, as well as platform and organizational innovations.
In this webinar, TDWI’s Research Director for Advanced Analytics, Fern Halper, will discuss these changes. She will explore market trends in advanced analytics and how analytics are becoming more pervasive and consumable.
You will learn:
- Market trends supporting advanced analytics
- How innovations are helping organizations to take action on analytics
- How to get started with advanced analytics and skills needed
