Webinar Abstract

Information integration is critical for becoming smarter with data. Across all industries, organizations want to use data analytics to discover how they can reduce costs without sacrificing quality and effectiveness. Firms both large and small want to pull diverse data streams together. Users can then uncover insights and innovate at a faster pace than their competition.

Nowhere is this more true than in the healthcare industry. Dramatic changes are shaking foundations. Payers, providers, pharmaceutical companies, life sciences firms, and other participants must adjust to regulatory changes and new clinical, financial, and operational demands. These changes make it vital for organizations in these sectors to develop strategies for sharing and integrating information. New types of collaborative engagements are necessary for taking advantage of the variety of big data sources now available both inside and outside organizational walls, as well as applying sophisticated analytics to improve outcomes.

This Webinar will focus on how organizations can develop a strategy for integrating and sharing information to support more advanced analytics. Although many of the tips and best practices to be offered are applicable to firms in all industries, this Webinar will focus on key issues facing organizations in the healthcare industry, including payers, providers, pharmaceutical companies, and life sciences firms. All of these groups must draw on the wealth of traditional and new big data sources for actionable insights.

You will learn:

  • Key drivers behind the need to integrate information from an advanced analytics perspective
  • Best practices in other industries that could be applied to requirements in the healthcare industry
  • How information integration can support data-driven innovation between payers, providers, pharmaceutical companies, life sciences firms, and more
  • The role of electronic health records (EHRs), data warehouses, and big data platforms for enabling information integration across multiple subsectors of healthcare
