Optimize Large-Scale Reporting and Complex Analytics with Cloud Data Warehousing

Webinar Speaker: David Stodder, Senior Director of Research for BI, TDWI

Date: Tuesday, August 16, 2022

Time: 9:00 a.m. PT, 12:00 p.m. ET

With data demands rising, organizations in insurance, financial services, and other industries are outgrowing legacy data warehouses and moving to the cloud. Better price for performance is a huge draw. Yet many firms are finding that a single cloud platform is not enough to handle hundreds of concurrent reports or users and can be risky as a single point of failure. Not to mention handling analytics that require interactive access to data sets now measuring hundreds of terabytes and petabytes. Organizations are finding that they need distributed cloud solutions that offer higher scale and performance.

Slow query performance for end-of-month reporting is a business-critical concern. For financial services and insurance firms, big delays in running risk analytics models that evaluate data on policies sold and claims made can expose companies to poor decisions and regulatory problems. Data distributed across hybrid environments of on-premises systems and multiple cloud platforms adds even more challenges.

Join this TDWI Webinar to learn how you can meet demands for faster performance and scalability for reporting and analytics even as you are migrating to the cloud and dealing with a hybrid data environment. In a roundtable discussion, we will hear from Srinivasan Mani, vice president of data integration and delivery at Zurich North America, about how one of the largest providers of insurance solutions and services solved these challenges.

Topics will include:

  • TDWI research insights into trends impacting reporting, analytics, and cloud data warehousing
  • Strategies for faster, more scalable production of reports and large-scale performance
  • Controlling costs and reducing risks in cloud migration and hybrid data environments
  • Best practices for meeting growing reporting and analytics demands in financial services and insurance
