Modern data has value, but it can be challenging to manage
when its sources stream data in real time and/or generate data
in unstructured or multistructured formats that are unfamiliar to
technical users. On the outbound side, the number of end users consuming data is
growing and they increasingly expect data to be delivered to their
smartphones and tablets, as well as presented in a business-friendly
way for self-service data exploration, prep, and visualization.
This report will drill down into the modern best practices
associated with emerging data sources, data platforms, and
business use cases. The goal of the report is to accelerate user
understanding of evolving DI/DQ practices, especially those that
embrace big data, new data, analytics, and multiplatform data
architectures that mix on-premises, cloud, open source, and
NoSQL systems.
