Abstract

The area of business intelligence has gone through quantum leaps in the
past 10 years from rows and columns report to Virtual Reality immersion, context based AI. In our presentation, we will explore Business Intelligence 3.0, what it means to organizations, new age tools and practical adoption considerations.

Shital has 18+ years of experience in Business Intelligence, Information Management and Data Analysis.  Her experience with Business Intelligence began with the development of reporting modules for software platforms and products for customers across Healthcare, Telecommunications, Financial Services followed by in-house Business Intelligence management roles in CPG, Retail and consulting for Fortune 500 firms in the Midwest area with area based consulting firms.  She has firsthand experience of the evolution of the business intelligence paradigm from reports (rows and columns) to the context based BI needs and multi-dimensional analysis with multiple client and project engagements ranging from building an ODS to building a platform to enable and support business analytics.
