As an organization's data and analytics efforts mature, it collects and uses more diverse data and performs more sophisticated analytics. TDWI research finds that most organizations have moved to the cloud (or plan to) to support their evolving requirements. In fact, in some cases enterprises are using more than one cloud provider as part of a multicloud arrangement. A multicloud deployment is one where the organization uses two or more cloud providers to support infrastructure, applications, and key business functions.
According to TDWI research, the average organization currently uses two cloud providers for data management. This can prove challenging; data governance can become more complex in a multicloud environment.
Join this expert panel to learn more about data governance in a multicloud world. Topics include:
- The pros and cons of a multicloud environment
- Challenges of governing a multicloud environment
- Organizational models for multicloud data governance—what changes?
- Technologies to help with multicloud data governance
