Unlocking the Power of Generative AI with Knowledge Graphs: Five Considerations for Getting Started

Webinar Speaker: Fern Halper, TDWI VP Research, Senior Research Director for Advanced Analytics

Date: Thursday, November 16, 2023

Time: 12:00 p.m. PT / 3:00 p.m. ET

More organizations are realizing that they need analytics to stay competitive. This includes advanced analytics such as AI and generative AI. Generative AI is a subset of artificial intelligence that utilizes machine learning techniques to generate new content. TDWI research indicates a great deal of interest in the technology among data and analytics professionals. For example, in a recent survey, although slightly less than 20% were using generative AI currently, over 35% more were planning to use it in the next few years.

Many of these use cases will require data and analytics professionals to utilize generative AI with their own company’s data to help to build analyses and applications that serve their own customers and operations. In order to do this, they will need their own company data, in context and organized in a consumable way, as part of the solution. Some companies are utilizing enterprise knowledge graphs to help. Knowledge graphs represent corporate assets in a way that is consumable by a broad range of business users. Knowledge graphs help represent data as concepts that have relationships. This kind of representation can accelerate business understanding and decision making.

This TDWI webinar will discuss how knowledge graphs can be used to unleash the power of generative AI. Topics include:

  • How generative AI is being used in organizations including the use of internal company data in applications
  • What knowledge graphs are and how they can help with generative AI
  • Five key considerations for getting started with generative AI and knowledge graphs
