Expert Panel: Governing Analytics
Webinar Speaker: Fern Halper, TDWI VP Research, Senior Research Director for Advanced Analytics
Date: Thursday, August 24, 2023
Time: 12:00 p.m. PT / 3:00 p.m. ET
When governance is discussed in data and analytics, the focus is typically on data governance. However, analytics governance is also important, especially given that more organizations are deploying advanced analytics such as machine learning models. These models need to be governed to be versioned, explainable, and ethical. TDWI Research indicates that data governance is a top priority and challenge for organizations.
Analytics governance, although not actively addressed in most companies, will become increasingly important. This expert panel will discuss what analytics governance is all about and the considerations for analytics governance.
