Eliminating Data Silos: Modern Data Architectures for Analytics
Webinar Speaker: Fern Halper, TDWI VP Research, Senior Research Director for Advanced Analytics
Date: Tuesday, October 4, 2022
Time: 9:00 a.m. PT, 12:00 p.m. ET
Modern data applications and analytics rely on a wide variety of data both inside and outside the company; organizations depend on enriched data sets for better insights. This need, in part, has driven many companies to move to cloud data warehouses and cloud data lakes. However, it’s no longer simply about migrating to the cloud. It’s about modernizing using a combination of industry-leading services in the cloud and cloud-native data management services to deliver better business decisions, faster.
TDWI research indicates that a big challenge for data and analytics remains data silos. Data silos increase costs and cause issues with data integrity and collaboration. Some organizations are addressing this challenge by centralizing their data in the cloud.
Join a panel of experts from TDWI, Informatica, and Amazon Web Services (AWS) as they discuss modern data architectures for analytics and how these can help eliminate data silos. Topics include:
- Why there is a need for analytics
- Choosing the right data strategy and modern architecture for your needs
- The role of metadata, automation, and AI/ML in the modernization efforts
- How to get started with a data modernization effort for analytics
