Future Analytics: Organizational Readiness and Successful Deployment

TDWI Speaker: David Loshin, President of Knowledge Integrity

Date: Thursday, December 12, 2019

Time: 9:00 a.m. PT, 12:00 p.m. ET

To introduce this roundtable discussion, we first explore the characteristics of the future analytics environment—combining high-performance computing paradigms, access to scalable data object stores, and a broad variety of tools and technologies that allow citizen analysts to exploit advanced analytics without years of training or the overhead of complex toolkits. The future analytics environment simplifies the ability to ingest and process data from a wide variety of sources, analyze the integrated data, and produce both new data products and analytical models that drive automated profitable behaviors.

An organization must be properly prepared to achieve the goals of deploying the future analytics environment. A combination of the right analytics technologies, development partners, and good practices can motivate the development of a plan for end-to-end data orchestration supporting an integrated analytics capability. During this roundtable discussion, analyst David Loshin will talk with industry experts about organizational readiness for the future analytics environment.

Attendees will learn about:

  • High-level architectural alternatives for analytics
  • Understanding and prioritizing analytics use cases
  • Data resource mapping
  • Data pipeline orchestration
  • Leveraging the right technology frameworks
