What’s New in the World of Hadoop?
The world of big data has evolved quite a bit over the last 10 years. In this talk we’ll review the past, present and future of Hadoop, and then dive into the open source frameworks that enable real-time processing, advanced analytics and machine learning. We’ll close the session with a discussion of what makes big data projects successful.
- Samir Gupta is a senior solutions engineer at Cloudera and spends his time helping organizations capture, secure and get insights out of their data using modern, open source technologies. Prior to Cloudera, Samir held senior roles at Oracle and IBM focused on data warehousing technologies.
