Mapping Police Violence is, in their own words, “a research collaborative collecting comprehensive data on police killings nationwide to quantify the impact of police violence in communities.” Their database is freely available for further analysis.


Tracking Uses of Force in New Jersey

This interactive visualization, part of an investigation by NJ Advance Media, explores how often the state’s police officers use force, highlighting those who used force more than 5 times as often as the state average.

 

Using Analytics to Identify Outliers in Palm Beach

A preliminary project from Lawsuit.org shows how compiling citation data may help detect outliers in a single police force that warrant further investigation.
