Jinfonet Software, an embedded analytics and reporting software provider, has released JReport 15. This latest release offers innovations in streamlining report and visualization creation. Report developers will now enjoy a simple, efficient look and feel to JReport Designer as well as improvements to major workflows in the configuration and creation process. These new capabilities provide developers with greater flexibility in serving the analytics needs of users who demand powerful data insights.
Intuitive Design Interface
Developers are what make embedded reporting, visualization, and analytics possible. JReport Designer 15 features a new user interface that expands Quick Start reporting, making it more intuitive for developers to connect to data sources, build queries, configure data models, and create reports and visualizations.
Visualization properties are easily adjustable through a searchable inspector. Built-in templates for data source setup are now extendable and customizable. Contextual hints assist developer workflows and guide them to build anything from advanced, interactive visualizations to pixel-perfect, complex reports.
Design and Deploy KPIs Everywhere
Continuing Jinfonet’s mission to provide the best visualizations, KPI creation gets a major boost. Developers and users can now create ad hoc KPI widgets by using templates and picking measures for automatic computations displayed in a proper format.
Optional trend charts and one-click styling further enhances the KPI visualization. These KPIs can then be dropped into a dashboard and mashed up and synchronized with other visualization widgets. Similar to other widgets, KPIs can also be shared across other dashboards.
JReport 15 is now available for download.
