OpenText Delivers Big Data Analytics in the OpenText Cloud

OpenText has released OpenText Big Data Analytics, an all-in-one advanced analytics solution as a complete cloud service. The new solution allows users to access, blend, explore, and analyze their big data for a complete view of their customers or operations. Available in the OpenText Cloud, OpenText Big Data Analytics is offered through simple, tiered subscription pricing.
With the growing volume of information flowing in and out of the organization, enterprises are looking for solutions to extract the value of big data and apply it to their business decisions. Limitations of traditional business intelligence tools combined with the scarcity of big data resources has made this a difficult task. New tools are required to simplify this process to enable marketing or financial analysts and other business users to quickly analyze data, without relying on IT. The first of a series of planned Analytics-as-a-Service offerings, OpenText Big Data Analytics extends the EIM vision to include visual data discovery and predictive analytics. The solution brings the power of predictive analytics to businesses of all sizes, including current EIM customers looking to minimize their IT and upfront investment in advanced analytics while delivering the power of big data to everyday business processes and functions.
The solution is immediately available; pricing ranges from $18,000 per year for 50 million rows of data to $300,000 a year for up to a billion rows of data, as well as customer solutions for unlimited usage beyond a billion rows of data.
