Datawatch Announces Monarch Data Pump Version 10.5 Professional Edition

Datawatch Corporation announced Monarch Data Pump V10.5 Professional Edition, the latest upgrade to the company's server-based data distribution, ETL (extraction, transformation, loading), and application integration solution. Monarch Data Pump V10.5 Pro, which offers all the report and data mining capabilities of the product's Standard Edition, is designed to provide high-volume data production while taking advantage of value-added features such as Web services, remote administration via a Web browser, and tight integration within SQL Server Information Services (SSIS). Monarch Data Pump V10.5 Pro is also compatible with Windows 7.

Monarch Data Pump V10.5 Pro automatically mines and combines data from reports, PDF files, and other data sources, such as spreadsheets or databases, without any new programming required. It also provides customization of data views by providing calculated fields, data summarization, sorts, filters, lookups, and more. In addition, Monarch Data Pump V10.5 Pro uploads data to any ODBC or OLE DB-compliant database including SQL Server, Oracle, and DB2.

Companies can use the program to export mined data into end-user-friendly formats such as Microsoft Office Excel 2007 and automatically deliver it to the right people. , Also, this new version of Monarch Data Pump Pro allows companies to create and export Excel spreadsheets containing a copy of the original report source of the data. Digital signatures can also be added for maximum data integrity.

Monarch Data Pump V10.5 Pro offers the following:

  • Installation on up to 32 physical CPUs

  • Remote administration over the network using Microsoft Management Console interface; administrators can remotely view and run processes, cancel and delete jobs, view job logs, and check server status

  • Ability to use Web-enabled Monarch Data Pump administration with any browser

  • Web Services interface for movement to and from other applications and other platforms

  • Integration with SQL Server 2005 Information Services (SSIS)
