Webinar Abstract
Master data management (MDM) comprises a robust set of processes, techniques, and technologies. MDM has matured to the point where organizations now recognize a need to transition away from “integration” and move toward “information use.” That implies a more informed concentration on customer data visibility to support corporate directives for improving the customer experience in ways that create and maintain corporate and customer value.
The drive toward customer centricity means providing staff members who are involved in key customer touch points with access to a unified view of data records from multiple sources. Instead of a single, conformed “golden record,” staff members are better served by the delivery of a broad swath of customer information, both structured and unstructured. This empowers them to select the data that is relevant to a given business process and can best inform their decision-making.
In this Webinar we will consider how the evolution of master data capabilities enables a strategic approach to customer master data integration, as well as how delivery can be leveraged to improve business processes for customer centricity. We will examine different uses cases and consider ideas for delivering a unified view of customer data to end users in each customer-facing situation.
You will learn:
- Consumption-oriented data integration
- Delivering a unified view for customer data visibility
- Combining structured and unstructured data to augment the customer-centric view
- Empowering end users to make informed business decisions
