Webinar Abstract
As big data continues to grow bigger, become more diverse, and more real-time, forward looking organizations are looking to manage and analyze this data using advanced analytics in an environment which might include multiple approaches and technologies. For real time streaming data this could include utilizing technologies that support in-memory processing, where data and mathematical computations are performed in RAM rather than on disk; enabling processing thousands of times faster than data access from disk. For example, data streams from the Internet of Things (where devices might provide data) can be captured and processed in-memory to recognize current events that require action and predict future events.
Join a lively panel of experts including representatives from Tangoe, a global solutions provider powering the connected enterprise, software vendor SAP, and TDWI to discuss real-time streaming analytics.
Topics discussed will include:
- Stream processing: what it is and why it is important
- Use cases for streaming including Tangoe use cases
- Analyzing data in streams
- Latency issues with streaming data
- Business process impacts of stream processing
