Webinar Abstract
Analytics is undergoing a renaissance. Its value is understood. It is becoming easier to use, even by the non-statistician. Organizations are gathering ever increasing volumes of disparate data to use for analytics. Forward-looking organizations are even using real-time data and beginning to embed analytics against this data.
So, what does it mean to embed analytics? When analytics is embedded, it is tightly integrated into a business application. In general, this opens analytics to more users and helps it become pervasive. However, it turns out that there are different variations and degrees, including embedding analytics in a dashboard, embedding analytics in a business application, and making analytics part of an automated business process. With the advent of the Internet of things (IoT) including wearable devices and the industrial internet, embedding analytics is gaining wide popularity. But, what does it mean for your organization?
You will learn:
- A framework for understanding embedded analytics
- The status of embedded analytics
- Deciding if embedded analytics is right for your organization
- Getting started with embedding analytics
