As UST’s head of data engineering and platform, Sripathi helps clients define and implement their data strategy, design and develop scalable data platforms and best practices, select tools, and establish centers of engineering excellence. Working with UST’s CTO office, Sri has been instrumental in growing the data practice at UST and transforming it into a differentiated offering of data-focused services. Sri works closely with UST’s client stakeholders, leveraging an ecosystem of partners and products in delivering high-value solutions to clients’ business challenges.
In addition, Sri leads the development of UST IQ, an “ingestion to insights” platform that expedites the development of analytics use cases. UST IQ can process petabytes of data and provide for performant analytics while addressing the cost challenges that other technologies face when scaling to handle large complex workloads.
Sri has a master’s degree in computer applications from the University of Madras and has earned several postgraduate certifications in computer science, programming, and application development. Prior to heading the data engineering practice, Sri designed and developed systems and applications that addressed the key business challenges of some of the largest businesses in the world.
