Improving Business Performance By Closing BI Maturity Gaps With Hybrid Cloud Deployments

As digital businesses thrive and digital transformation grows increasingly crucial, firms looking to remain competitive need more than the traditional bare-bones analytics solutions. Data shows that 80% of organizations want to become more advanced in their ability to perform analytics.
In January 2018, SAP commissioned Forrester Consulting to evaluate the factors driving analytics/BI maturity, particularly in relation to cloud capabilities. Forrester conducted an online survey with 485 professionals responsible for analytics/BI at companies worldwide with more than 1,000 employees to explore this topic. We found that companies that adopt cloud capabilities as part of their analytics and business intelligence strategy are typically more mature in their analytics/BI and data processing capabilities. Those higher levels of maturity correlate with revenue growth and satisfaction with analytical capabilities.
