Top Ten Priorities for Next Generation Master Data Management
Webinar Abstract
Master data management (MDM) is one of the most widely adopted data management disciplines of recent years. Hence, many organizations have already deployed their first or second generation of MDM solutions. The current challenge is to move on to the next generation. Yet, there are many possible directions the next generation could go, which means organizations must play carefully, so they take the path most optimal for them.
For example, some MDM solutions need to move from one data domain to multiple, as well as from a short list of supported applications to a longer list. Most MDM solutions lack advanced functions for identity resolution, two-way data sync, real-time operation, and approval workflows for reference data updates. And most MDM solutions need adjustments to their architecture. This presentation discusses these and more, so users have the prioritized metrics they need to assess their current generation of MDM, as well as to plan the next generation.
Join Philip to discuss:
- Business and technology drivers for recent changes in MDM solutions
- How to define a next-generation MDM solution relative to your own organizational needs for both business and technology
- Prioritized list of MDM tool functions, user techniques, and team structures that Next-Gen MDM solutions need for success
