What benefits do I receive as a TDWI Member?
TDWI supports, develops, and distributes a wide range of print and online resources to keep our Members up to date on new techniques, technologies, and issues in business intelligence and data warehousing. As a TDWI Member, you will receive a comprehensive selection of industry research, news, and information on a quarterly basis. You will also have direct access to all of TDWI’s current and archived research and publications in password-protected areas of tdwi.org. Additionally, as a Member, you can attend TDWI Education Conferences and Seminars at a significantly discounted rate. How will I receive my TDWI Member benefit publications?
TDWI provides Member publications primarily as electronic documents for download. You will receive e-mail notifications when new Member publications and research are available on tdwi.org. You may also request printed copies of Member publications by visiting the TDWI User Account Portal.

Do members have a way to connect with other Members?

How long is my Membership active?
TDWI Membership is active for 12 months from the date of registration.

What is the cost of Membership?
TDWI Membership costs $275 per year. There is a special renewal rate available when you renew within 30 days of your expiration date. (International Members who request hard copies of their research and publications pay a $50 surcharge.)

If someone in my company is a Member, am I automatically a Member too?
No, individual Memberships cannot be shared or used company wide.

If my company has a Team Membership, am I a Member?
Not necessarily. There are various levels of Team Membership, and you would have received notification that you had been enrolled as a TDWI Member. Please contact membership@tdwi.org to find out if you are a Member.

Do you have any discounts for individuals working in government or education?
No, at this time we do not offer Membership discounts for government employees or professionals working in education.

If I attended a conference, do I automatically receive a TDWI Membership?
Individuals who attend a TDWI Education Conference for three or more days are eligible to receive a TDWI Membership as part of their conference package. If you opt out of receiving this Membership, we will not enroll you in our Membership program.

If I attend a conference, does this automatically renew my Membership?
No, attending a conference does not automatically renew or update your TDWI Membership. If you wish to renew your Membership, please indicate that when you register.

If I am leaving my job, can I transfer my Membership to someone else in my company?
Yes. You can transfer your Membership to anyone else within your company by e-mailing the changes to membership@tdwi.org.

Is there a minimum number of people required to start a Team Membership?
You can start a Team Membership with two or more people.

Do I need to send the entire list of names to be added to my Team Membership all at once?
No, you can add people to your Team Membership as needed, up to the number included within your Membership level.

Do I need to send an enrollment form for each person who will be part of the Team Membership?
Yes, it is important for us to have all the information for each person who will be included in the Team Membership. If you are renewing a Team Membership, please use the TDWI Team Membership enrollment form (in Microsoft Excel) to gather and submit contact information for each member.

Can I start a Department Level Team Membership now (up to 10 members), and then upgrade to the next level later if necessary?
Yes, you may upgrade your Team Membership at any time during the year. We will prorate the upgrade amount for the remainder of your original Team Membership period.

If we have one or more current individual Member(s) within our organization, can they be rolled into a Team Membership?
Yes, you can roll each current individual Member into the Team Membership. To find out who within your company has individual Memberships, and how to add them to your Team Membership, please contact the membership department at 425.226.3053 or membership@tdwi.org.

What do I need to get started on a Team Membership?
Simply download the forms below, fill them out completely, and fax them back to 773.829.8330. The faxes will go directly to our membership department and will be processed upon receipt.

How do we decide who will be the Team Administrator?
The Team Administrator will be the individual that TDWI contacts each year for renewal of the Team Membership, and he or she will act as the main contact for questions. The Team Administrator is not required to be a part of the Team Membership.

If someone leaves the company or department who is on the Team Membership, can we switch their Membership to someone else?
Yes, but only three times per year. This is limited to people who leave the company or department.
